"The unreality of a dead future, haunting the present through a shattered but stylised reflection. A forceful clashing of polar opposites. The Technosphere erodes its way into the biosphere. The real and the hyperreal become indistinguishable. The abstract machinery of Technocapital endlessly grinds the human spirit, devours every possible future that does not have a place for itself, to prolong its own life; generating misery as a byproduct. Information takes form in a way similar to metastasis, infecting the noösphere with algorithmically generated sludge. Post-truth becomes the norm; echo chambers flourish. In short, the world strains under its own weight; suffering from the pain of trying to birth a future that will, and should never, come."
Listen, I'm am a literal beginner so don't expect anything from this site.
While I try learning things on the fly, here's some music you can chew on while I make this site I really like synths.
- Get Well Soon. It's from a new darksynth album by Masked. It's fast, 80s'-esque and pretty synth. Masked has been a favorite of mine for a while. He is basically one of the darksynth artists, ideal to make a soundtrack for some boomer shooter.
- Neuroprophet. This is an industrial song by Black Magnet. I found the album—Hallucination Scene—maybe less than a month ago and its been on my mind ever since. It's got a real heavy sound and its got a beat that really makes you feel that is it is literally heavy in terms of weight too. Guitar's got some twang to it. I don't know too much about the band exept for the Hallucination Scene, but I'm sure when I come around to it, I'll love the rest of their stuff.
- 1996 Expectations From the beautiful voice of the artist Madeline Goldstein and the magic of synth. I don't know how to express it properly, but it's just good, really good. I can't really tier any of her music, it's like a parent saying "All of you are my favorite" execpt I'm not lying when I say all her songs are favorites of mine. Granted I don't listen to her discography on repeat, nor have I listend to everything she's made but still...
- Recently I found this guy who occasionally makes meme music. I'm not a big fan of that kinda thing, but damn the rest of stuff satifies something in my brain that I never knew I needed til now. Track is proly my favorite. It's from Tales from the Broken Hardrive. Personally, Collection 7.5 is better imo but not really good at going through albums and eps. If I had to put a word to Slommmbo, it would be 90s, which isn't even a word. My mind can't explain it right, but I know the word is 90s.
So what is this website gonna be about?
I have an idea about what this thing is gonna turn into. It's gonna be all 90s cyberpunk, green text, a dvd screensaver and the usual shit you'd see in a good neocities website and then some too. You gotta see it to know what I'm planning. Just don't ask any questions and hopefully my wild wetdream of a site will become a reality in due time. Trust me.
Update
I'm a bit of a slow learner but now I got the better color of green on. By tomorrow you won't be looking at just a wall of text!(Hopefully)
Update3: I gottta be honest, creating a wacky website is kinda tedious when you're a total beginner
Update4: Ngl, I've been wasting my time and literly haven't done anything productive pretty much since making this site. I orginally was on and off of here for about a week but my time on neocities and general learning html has plateaud since then. I would love to spend time here making this look good like the other sites, but doing nothing all day is so much easier than being productive. Note: I'm gonna add extra songs but I wanna save first
